Force Five Grandizer, Starvengers, Gaiking, Danguard Ace, Spaceketeers Grendizer, Getter Robo G, Gaiking, Wakusei Robo Danguard A, Starzinger
In 1981, movie versions of each show was released by FHE (Family Home Entertainment). It was just the cramming of the 26 episodes (of their respective shows) into 110 minute flicks.
This is the
great Saturday morning show, which I never watched! The only chance I got to watch Force five was through Video tapes, they were Beta at the time, WOW!!. My uncle, who
traveled frequently to the US, would always ask what would I like from the
States, I would say, Grendizer
Then I saw Spaceketeers "The cool guy who had a weapon just like Grandizer's dabble siko. Then Grandizer. I never got Gaiking. Now here is the funny part, I only got the full length 2 hour Movies, not the whole series. For 14 years I never forgot those movies, yet I always thought that that was it , just movies. But when I came to the US, I found the first tape of Grandizer and noticed the other tapes on the back. Later on I bought them and learned that they are all series.

Force Five
was the packaging of 5 Toei Doga anime and produced by Jim Terry Productions in
1980. Only 26 episodes of each of the 5 shows
were dubbed into English and brought into Force Five. Jim Terry tried to take
the most generic episodes (ones that you didn't have to watch in order) not
following a direct storyline. Only 2 of the 5 shows actually showed endings.
They were Starvengers and Gaiking. The other 3 ended with generic "filler" type
episodes with no real affects to the plot.

Will I was 6 or 7 at the time. The fist thing he brought me was Starvengers. I
did not know what it was at the time, to me it was the Three planes that
transform in to three Cool Robots. Then he got me Danguard Ace to me "The robot
who had problems getting his helmet on.
