Danouger, Dancougar

Super Bestial Machine God Dancougar is the story of Zyusenkitai (Cyber Beast Force) and their struggle to free planet Earth from the Zorbados Muge alien empire by using the powerful robot, Dancougar, which is powered by their combine mental powers. Dancougar's story was pretty much your standard alien invasion deal that was so prevalent in super robot fare, but thanks to its strong character development and good storytelling it managed to become a classic.

Shinobu Fujiwara	Considered a genius when it comes to flying an aircraft, yet is undisciplined and reckless at first.  No one can deny his innate ability to fly the Eagle Fighter, and his warrior spirit and will power have no equal.  His favorite motto is "Yatte yaruze!" oftentimes translated as "Let's Go!" or "Let's do it!"  Has not-so-hidden feelings for teammate Sara Yuki.
Sara Yuki	Romantically linked to traitor Shapiro Keats before his desertion.  It is she who first recognized the fact that Keats had joined Muge as an advisor, recognizing his tactics and strategy.  2nd recruit to the Jyusenkitai.  Very sensitive and intuitive at times, stubborn at others.
Masato Shikibu	The third recruit to the Jyusenkitai, Masato is the youngest of the four protagonists.  He gives a youthful enthusiasm to the team, and it is no doubt that it is this zest for life that enables him to handle the Land Liger well.  As the series develops, he develops a friendship with the young American girl Laura Sullivan.  Incidentally, has great technique in teaching kids baseball.  Interesting trivia: yell "breakfast" to wake him up from sleep.
Ryo Shiba	The last Jyusenkitai member to join up is hardly the least.  First, he pilots the massive Big Moth (it's a mammoth).  Second, his fighting skills are obviously the best among the four, being trained in the martial arts.  Soft spoken and patient, he is nonetheless proud of himself and his abilities.  This sometimes leads to conflicts with the hot headed Shinobu.  Ryo and Shinobu may not like each other, but they respect each other as comrades and teammates.

There are four special mecha which have three modes, Aggressive Tank (or plane in case of Eagle Fighter), Aggressive Beast Type, and Humanoid Type. 

In Aggressive Beast Type, the computer of each machine can link up with the minds of the pilots
